Victoria Park skate park repair 2016, Western Australia

The skatebowl in the Town of Victoria Park had become slippery and uneven, due to multiple layers of paint being applied to the surface to cover graffiti. The paint needed to be removed, but the site was close to a river, so extra care needed to be taken in the choice of product and method to remove the paint.

We offered a solution to repair general wear and tear and resurface the skatebowl. We used a non-toxic method to remove the paint, and we contained all waste within the site to protect the river. We applied a new surface treatment to finish the repair. The park is over 10-years old, but it looks brand new and rolls like new.
